Who are we?

Kevin D. Shelburn

Founder & Managing Broker

Kevin was born in New London, CT and grew up in the nearby coastal town of Waterford. In 1999 he moved to Santa Barbara where he attended UCSB and received his bachelor's degree.

In 2004 Kevin began managing properties throughout Santa Barbara County, paying particular attention to cash flow and value appreciation.

Four years later, in the midst of the Great Recession, Kevin began his career in brokerage. By 2020 he had completed half a billion dollars of real estate transactions.

My wife and I purchased our home sight unseen through Kevin during our transition from Michigan to Los Angeles. Our transaction started well, but shortly thereafter the seller, a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company, began to make our lives difficult. We relied on Kevin’s poise, contract familiarity, transaction management and willingness to go toe-to-toe with the seller’s attorney to keep our deal on track. Despite the combative atmosphere created by the seller, we closed on-time and avoided the additional cost of hiring an attorney.
